about

This is the second work that Pedro Chambrel dedicates specifically to the factor of the unforeseen and the uncertainty (the factors most commonly considered as aleatory) in the construction of sound material, and in particular in the correlation between the act of composing and the practice of free improvisation. Such factors end, in one way or another, by always being in the praxis that results in musical creation. The methods used in this work continue the path that Pedro began exploring in his 2014 piece titled "Nothing Ever Happens - Chance Music Number 1".
This album explores the puzzle of introducing one or more factors of unpredictability into the action that will result in the final product.
