The artist edition includes the same CD of music, nestled into a 7"x 7” duplex carton card with a 5" circle cut out, sandwiched between a high quality printing of of the cover art on 7"x 7” 150g Fine Art Baryta paper and a 7"x 7” text sheet on 150g Munken Pure paper. Each assembly is numbered and signed by Riccardo Wanke and Pedro Tropa and inserted into a polyvinyl protective sleeve.

In the words of RDW:

"In chemistry, the oxidation states define the nature and the behaviour of an element. The same element could act differently depending on its state. I translated this idea to sound. A substance can change its character from harsh and strident to soft and gentle, while also staying the same. This transformation could be progressive or abrupt and always depend on a corresponding transformation of another material. The exploration of the tangible nature of sound is also part of this idea and relates with Scelsi’s definition of “spherical sound” and its third dimension.

I illustrated this idea to the Portuguese artist Pedro Tropa. He joined me in this project preparing a specific artwork that accompanies the work."
